According to a new press release, “The annual Disruptive Decisions Summit today announced that they will bring together pioneers in the analytics space to discuss disruptive research technologies and the impact it has on their professions at their annual summit being held at the prestigious Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania in San Francisco, CA on October 10, 2016. Leaders in analytics from top technology companies will be speaking, including Juniper Networks VMware, Dropbox, Buzzfeed, and Yahoo. Jeopardy champion, IBM Watson, will discuss cognitive computing and its impact on the world of analytics.”

The release continues, “Over the next few decades the analytics industry will experience a revolution in the practices used to derive insights. This summit hopes to empower, educate, and discuss how researchers can leverage these new technologies for greater long-term success. ‘Traditional methods of marketing are being uprooted by technological platforms that improve time to market and increase marketing’s ROI,’ said keynote speaker, Mike Marcellin, chief marketing officer, Juniper Networks. ‘Foundational to managing this transition, is the ability to manage your data in new and transformative ways. The Disruptive Decisions Summit is the perfect platform to talk about these new methods and I look forward to sharing stories with analytically like-minded people’.”

It adds, “The conference will cover topics around customer advocacy, B2B media targeting, advertising effectiveness, and evolving and identifying a customer base. Each of the speakers will be addressing these topics and will be moderating discussions in much the same way that students at the Wharton School of Business attend class.”
